The boxing training session stimulates all muscle groups, and provides the perfect combination of aerobic (with oxygen) and anaerobic (without oxygen i.e. short burst) exercise. To perfect boxing skills and stamina required to sustain the intensity of boxing you need to become supremely conditioned and strong. Speed of reactions and quick reflexes develop fast along with necessary resilience to box for longer periods whilst gaining strong and powerful arms and core. The sessions push your body to be stable, well balanced and in shape.
Boxing can be a great stress reliever. Hitting the heavy boxing bag, your trainers pads/various shields and managing your own body resistance in shadow boxing will help you to develop strength and explosive power while getting rid of every day pressures and burning significant calories.
